This is one of the first times I've actually revisited a piece. I really liked the concept and I love Tupac so I had to finish this piece properly. I still feel like there are changes I could make to improve it, but this is good for now. I was going to add his tattoos, but I couldn't find good reference for them so I left them out (I imagine him not having tattoos in heaven anyways, but yeah). I'm going to submit this as one of my pieces for the FIT senior exhibition. I hope it gets into the show.
aw yeah this is like my favorite piece from you. I'm submitting in Difate's paintings, and if i can make it, printing out something i did digitally which probably wont happen..
ReplyDeleteThe whole atmosphere of the submitting process and stuff made me feel like it was a competition. It was inspiring. I understand now that as much care and love that I put into crafts like my toys, I need to put into my art (it's hard to do that when I'm not inspired, but yeah...)I got a lot of work to do and pieces to finish and I'm inspired to do them. Also congrats on getting into the show!
