Vegeta in glorious (flat) color!

This is how I imagine Vegeta if he was "the Super Sayain" and was the one to kill Frieza.

Vegeta!

A quick drawing of Vegeta that I liked and inked. I'm working on this cute kinda style for doing short comics. It's really fun and fast to draw like this.

Froman

Just a sketch. Maybe I'll have a fro like that some day. View it in full size and you'll be able to see the depth of the lines in the paper. It looks pretty cool. Super high res scan for the win!

Tupac

Greatest Rapper Ever. I'll probably touch it up and add his tatts and stuff.

Selections from an Old Sketch Book

This is a character I designed in Junior High. I've been drawing new versions of him since then. This is my favorite one and probably the best drawing of him too. His name is Dat (D og c AT), I was always horrible at naming my characters lol. I was teaching myself a way to do dynamic perspective and I used it to draw this. No refs or anything just hours of wracking my brain 'til things made sense (I need to start doing that again).

This is Juin or June a character created by a friend of mine (Andrew Brookins) in Junior High as a nemesis to Dat. A super smart monkey guy. I used the same perspective method in this drawing and this one was a lot easier to do. I love these characters.

A figure drawing. I love drawing from life. I don't do it enough though. You may notice the lines drawn from point to point in this drawing. I use that method of measurement rather than the common pencil measuring method because it's harder for me to goof it up. I also like that I don't have to translate pencil measurements and alter them to change the size of my drawing. I can get accuracy with angles and that's just more fun for me.

Another drawing of the same model. I was more loosened up at this point and got further with the drawing.

A random kid from a computer class I had. I swear to you he looked EXACTLY like this. I had fun drawing these.

The very young very meticulous me lol. I like the look of these old drawings, but some of them were too much of a labor for me to be happy about them. I'm trying to find that happy medium. However I realize that I really just need to draw more. With more drawing the speed and ease will come and I can still have this refined look. Oh wellz I'm off to draw. I've inspired myself with a look back at my old art. Hope you liked what you've seen.

Heracles

A design of Heracles I made for a painting I'm doing of him for Vincent Di Fate. This design was made to intentionally echo the design of Billy (Adventure Time).

There's still "Nothung" ing...

I was trying something new here. I printed the line art onto construction paper just to see how it looked. Then I just decided I wanted to see how marker looked on it. Hope you like it. Billy's the MAN! 2 versions I dunno which I like more.

It's Billy!!!! "Nothung!" a sketch

Extremely cool character from Adventure Time.

Superman commission finished!

Superman... cool guy

This took about 10 hours to complete. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Superman is my tallest figure standing at about 3 inches.

Superman and friends. You may notice a larger superman to the right. I first began making a larger figure, but i ran into some problems... it was taking ridiculously long to work on it. It took about 16 hours to get the head and torso complete so I decided to just make a smaller version. Also I feel like it would lose it's charm if I made it so large.

A group close up.

Goodbye Superman

Toys!

This is the whole lot of toys I made. There are phases I go through where I just have to make them, but most of the time I rather draw. There were three main phases of my toy making hobby. With each phase, I improved significantly.

These are from phase 2. Android 17 and 18 from Dragonball. I lost 17's head and i don't think I'll ever find it lol. I no longer have any of the toys from phase 1, but trust me they are primitive.

Android 18 again with Dr. Frankenstein's monster. I made "Frankenstein" for a High School project... yes High School lol. He's kinda a part of phase 3.

Goku and Gohan from Dragonball. Phase 2. I made the phase two toys while I was in junior high and I received a lot of praise from my friends and teachers. Everybody wanted one lol

Vegeta and Goku. All of my toys at this point had movable arms.

Unnamed Original Character and an updated version of him that was unfinished. This was the first toy I made in phase 3. The updated version was the last and has been left unfinished due to lack of motivation to complete him.

Kurirrin from Dragonball. The second to last toy I made. If you all don't already know I'm a huge Dragonball fan.

Goku as a kid. Probably the most well made of my toys. Phase 3.

Galuda from Power Stone. A fun fighting game on the Dreamcast. I love that console.

All of my phase 3 toys are fully poseable.

More of Goku posing.

Goku!!!!

Galuda chillin.

I hope you enjoyed this d=D!
